Where It All Started

Amish Country

The story begins in Lancaster, PA home to the Franklin & Marshall Diplomats. I am sitting in my loft, about ready to head over to my buddy Mike G's and thinking about how I want to go to Alaska as soon as I graduate. Alaska to me is the last American frontier and I was itching for a little adventure before I started my Office Space existence. So as I head to Mike's house I am having dreams of salmon & grizzles. I am greeted by an excited Rocky, an American Staffordshire Terrier, and I take a seat in the living room.

Bob, Mike G, Shooter & Me

In the room it's Mike G, Shooter and Jake a regular crowd for that house. We are chatting about our plans and what we wanted to do after we graduated, we all said travel but each of had different ideas. After sometime of going back and fourth and each of us agreed we didn't want to see Europe, we wanted to see America. We were a group of guys whose families lived in and around NYC and this was a post 9/11 culture, we wanted to see our country. I left Mike's house that night excited but not sure if they were serious.

The next night I discovered they were serious. We all met back up the next night at Mike's house and did the unthinkable, bought plane tickets. Turns out Mike was in one of his "serious relationships" with a girl who had graduated the previous year and was living in Seattle. Her name was Sophie; she was a beautiful girl whose parents were from Britain and Italy, and they were out of town for the next two months. So home base was to be Seattle, and it could not have been a better choice.

The Story of Six Friends, an RV and No Agenda

Six Weeks of Blatancy

This is the story of myself and five friends' last trip together before we set out into the real world. We had about two months until we graduated and decided to do one last road trip, but this one was going to be epic. This is the tale of six good friends embarking on an adventure for six weeks in an RV with no agenda.
